ADVISOR FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Carbondale Area School
District is seeking an
Instructional Advisor for
Special Education effective
immediately. Performance
responsibilities include, but are
not limited to, monitoring the
development and updating of all IEPs, collaborating with all staff members in the delivery
of Special Education and Gifted services, assisting special
education teachers in the
evaluation of student abilities
and progress, to assist in the
development of effective
instructional strategies,
participating in building-level
intervention planning meetings (as available), and participation
in the development and delivery of professional development training for Special Education staff. The Instructional Advisor for Special Education will
assist the Director of Special
Education in ensuring
compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.

Applicants must submit a letter
of intent, standard teaching
application, a copy of a valid Pennsylvania Instructional II
Certificate in Special Education, resume, transcripts, and all
required clearances to
