The Civil Service Commission of the Borough of Blakely is currently accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for Full-time Police Officer.

Starting salary is $50,220.46 plus benefits.

Applicants must be 18 years of age but no more than 45 years of age, a native born or naturalized citizen of the U.S., a High School graduate or equivalent G.E.D., have a current, valid PA Operators License, be of good moral character, be physically fit to perform the duties of a police officer and must be currently certified under ACT 120

To be eligible for employment the applicant must pass all testing procedures as stated in the Blakely Borough Rules of Civil Service. Once offered a conditional offer of employment the employee must reside within 7 air miles of th Borough of Blakely inside of a six (6) month period.

Applications are available between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday July 26, 2021 through Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Blakely Borough Building Administration Office, 1439 Main St. Peckville, PA 18452

A $75.00 non-refundable processing fee is required when turning in application.

All applications for examination must be completed in proper form and returned in person to the Blakely Borough Administration Office, Blakely Borough Building 1439 Main St. Peckville, PA 18452 no later than July 30, 2021 at 4:00 P.M., with the processing fee.
