The Plumber is responsible for the repair and maintenance of domestic water systems, sanitary waste systems, hot water heaters, fire sprinkler systems and maintenance/repair to backflow preventer systems. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Trade or technical school diploma or degree is desired. Must have certification and/or willingness to complete certification in backflow preventer test and repair. Must have five years experience in the plumbing trade with care and maintenance of facilities, or any combination of education, training, or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position and needs of the University of Scranton will be considered.
