Telespond Senior Services, with offices in Scranton and Kingston, is seeking a full-time director and a full-time program assistant for the federally funded Foster Grandparent Program.

The program director is responsible for the administration and supervision of all aspects of the program, including managing over 90 foster grandparents. The position will include recruiting, assigning, and monitoring activities of seniors in various school districts and other locations throughout the greater Wilkes Barre and Hazleton areas. The successful candidate will have experience working with seniors and managing programs with external funding sources. A bachelors degree and experience in a human services organization is required.

The program assistant is responsible for assisting the program director with the administration of all aspects of the federally sponsored program. This position will include routinely working with seniors as well as various administrative assistant duties assigned by the program director. The successful candidate will have both computer and telephone experience as well as experience working with seniors.
