Full-Time Roadmaster

Covington Township, Lackawanna County, PA is accepting applications for a Full-Time Roadmaster. Applicants must possess a clean CDL license (minimum CDL-B) and any combination of education and experience which indicates possession of the skills, knowledge, and ability to operate equipment, power tools, roll-off trucks, etc.; maintain roads, drainage ditches, and swales. Must be able to plow roads and respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis; be able to repair vehicles and equipment and learn department policy, procedures, and work rules. The applicant should have the ability to diagnose problems with equipment, supervise road laborers, and fill out written reports in a clear and concise manner.
